Board of Directors

The activities of the Passion Play are directed by the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers who comprise the Society's Board of Directors.

Wilfred Golbeck – President
Wilfred lives in Drumheller and is employed as the District Manager for ATCO Electric. He is married to Sharon, and they have two kids: Andrew attends the Drumheller Composite High School, while Amanda is attending Concordia University in Edmonton. Wilfred has been involved with the Canadian Badlands Passion Play for many years, and is the chairman of the annual Passion Play Golf Tournament. Wilf and his family attend the Drumheller Church of the Nazarene.

John Bruins – Vice President
John was born and raised on a farm near Cayley, Alberta and is a graduate of Radio College of Canada, Toronto which opened the door to career as a broadcast engineer. He is a resident of Calgary and is currently employed at Q91 Country as an Account Manager. John is married to Gloria and has been a member of the Canadian Badlands Passion Play Board of Directors for many years, including eight as President. Over the years he has led church, political and technical organizations as well as being vice president of Education at Sunrise Toastmasters in Calgary and chairman of the Broadcast Technology Advisory Board at S.A.I.T for two years. John and Gloria attend Church at Rockyview Alliance, Grace Baptist and Centre Street in Calgary.
