Preparing to Come

What to Bring

The Passion Play is a three hour outdoor event. Concessions, a Gift Shop, modern washrooms and free parking are all available on site. We suggest you prepare for hot, cold, wet and dry conditions: bring a low, brimmed hat, cushion/blanket, warm jacket, lotion, sunglasses, water, insect repellent, opera glasses or binoculars, and rainwear with a hood. Umbrellas and strollers are not permitted.

Parking

Parking Lots for cars and buses are staffed by attendants. Rides are available for those needing assistance from the parking lots to the Amphitheatre. Please arrive at least one hour ahead of performance time.

Amphitheatre Seating

Tickets bear your seat number. All connecting paths are shale or gravel. Bench seating with backs, ample leg room and seat spacing with clear sight lines, make every seat a good seat. The badlands setting creates one of Canada's largest acting areas. Because of this, each guest will be closer to some scenes than to others. All actors and the choir use their natural voices unamplified, aided by the superb acoustics of the Ampitheatre.
